Works like a charm. I am just like Spider Man now and climb all over my roof. I highly recommend it.

Sturdy, strong fabrication. Made in USA, performs as described, only need a single hook, not pair. Worth the price for safety.
chopperwalt52 –
Handy piece of equipment and a must have doing roof work
pamela –
Didn’t damage the roof. Held good. Worth it on a 10/12 pitch roof.
BARRY –
This device allowed me access to a very steep roof and allowed me to repair a number of pieces of siding that had blown off. Saved me $500.
PANTEP –
Felt very safe and comfortable being 40 feet up on a very steep pitch roof.
Scott –
Worked great. I used it with my 24 foot ladder. I had to use heavy duty zip ties to keep the two sections of the ladder together. I was able to use the roller ball on the hook to push it up my roof and then flip it over to hook it over the peek. Well worth the money. Much safer than trying to crawl up my roof.

This thing is fantastic! I have a 12/12 pitch which is a real pain in the butt if you have to fix storm damage at the ridge- this makes it a piece of cake! No messing with roof jacks or toe boards- just carry up the ladder and go. I still use a safety line and your feet will be much more comfortable if you wear steel shank work boots if you plan on standing on the ladder for a while. It sits far enough off the roof that you can slide shingles underneath it. Excellent!

Easy to use, heavy duty construction. Quick shipping. Heavy Duty Roof Ridge Ladder Hook cost less than two individual lighter use Ladder Hooks.

Very sturdy well built. I feel a lot more secure with this ladder hook. Highly recommended for high pitch roofs. Works as advertised.
Jrgordinier –
I’ve fallen off my roof once and this is the only way I will climb on the steep peaks. I feel this is a must for anyone who will be working on the roof even if it’s only one time use.
dsei2877 –
Really a solid ladder hook. For sure only need one. I was up on the roof with it, the day it came. Followed the instructions, and it was really a good tool for working on a steep roof. Had it on a 16 ft section of an extension ladder, and I could stand up to paint the overhead eaves with confidence, just above my head. No wiggling or sliding. And the pivoting end of the hook didn’t leave any marks on the roof when I was done. Just what I’d hoped for. And it was here in 2 days!

I have to say this tool is much better quality than others that you will find. It is made in the USA and clearly constructed to last.

Used it with 1/2 of an extension ladder on a shed and over a breezeway – roofs tend to be steep here in Maine because of snow. Just give push it up. flip the ladder over and give it a tug – good to go!
Thomas –
Easy to assemble. The piece is really heavy duty. Make sure to lock the bolt down tight so the roller does not swivel out. A great product.
Lrjosh –

Veldy65 –
Works great, I am able to access roofs safely that I would not do without it.
I am an antenna retailer/installer.

I think this did the trick. It slid back and forth which was good to avoid sitting on a rib. I had to put on some foam to protect the finish on the metal. Great product!
BG –
Works great. Safety is the key to this product. I strapped down my climbing ladder on the ground and the ladder attached to the roof line. Thumbs up!
Ike –
Great product for diy person. Sturdy .easy to use . Looked around comparing similar products , this was at the top of the list . Worked perfectly for my roof job
TERRENCE –
What a relief to have this to get up on a 2nd story roof with a steep slope. Much better than relying on my on sure footedness. At 63 a fall from that height would not be good.
TCK –
Worked well, held the ladder stable on the roof, while I repaired chimney siding.
Paulie –

Works great. Single wheel without castor is key to making it easy to push the roof ladder to the peak. Heavy duty construction. It takes a beating.

Very easily assembled, hooked to any of my ladders and stayed sturdy and strong for my non walkable roof

We needed to remove the moss on roof. Our roof has a very steep slope and we didn’t know how we were going to get on the roof to complete our task. Luckily we found this tool, hooked it up to the ladder and rolled it on the roof. It was simple to use and recommend this product.

Recently I had a roofing repair job that was up a ways on the fairly steep pitch. Using the ladder hook in conjunction with my harness and tie-off, it kept me safe and secure while I made the necessary repairs to replace a few shingles that had blown off in a storm. The customer was very pleased.
Becky –
I really love my Acros heavy duty roof ridge ladder hook makes my jobs easy
Roadrunner –
I had a situation where I couldn’t install the ridge-cap due to the steepness of the roof. It just wasn’t safe to crawl on it. So, I ordered this ladder hook. It came in a few days and was undamaged. The construction is welded steel which makes it very solid. It has a wheel on the “back” side of it which makes installing it over the ridge better as it does not tear up the existing shingles. The wingnut and bracket that clamps to the ladder is large and easy to tighten by hand. I was working on a 12/12 roof pitch and it held well. Admittedly, the first time I used it, I very slowly and carefully crept up to make sure it was installed properly but once I gained confidence that it was secure, any fear of this not working properly went away. As a homeowner, this is something that I will use very infrequently but it’s one of those tools that you must have if you want to safely traverse a steep roof.

This is an interesting looking item that actually works well for added safety. How it works is interesting. Just mount it to the top of your ladder with the attached wheel facing the roof. Roll the ladder up the roof to the ridgeline and then flip the ladder over to connect on the peak. Although there is no warranty, this product is a real “must have” when you need the extra support for ladder security.

This hook is huge! Like a couple of rungs on a ladder huge! It is all cast iron metal and incredibly sturdy. This will last a lifetime from the looks of it.
You just hook it up to a rung or inside the top of your ladder and you have an instant hook to place your tool belt or paint cans while using a professional grade ladder. On the side of the hook, it also has directions to use on top of a roof and how to work the wheel and top latch to level it off and make it stay in one place. For my purpose it will be used for storage bucket (holding towels, rags, hand cleaners, paint thinner sprays, tape, etc) and then the actual paint can. I like it!
While I don’t quite understand these instructions and likely won’t use it on a roof, it says to use on the roof, to loosen “wing nut, with the wheel on the roof roll ladder past the peak of the roof, turn ladder over so that the hook rests on the opposite side of the roof peak, the ladder (should) be flat on the roof (sic) this product is not recommended for roots with vented edges (sic) do not over load (sic) 300 pound max.” I don’t really know what that means, but felt it worthwhile to share.
